Dr. Brigid Trent

So here’s the scoop:

Dr. Brigid Trent is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She did her pediatric specialty training at Northwestern University’s Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She was awarded the ABPD Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% nationwide on her pediatric written board exam. Dr. Brigid has served as a professor in pediatric dentistry at both the University of the Pacific and the University of Florida. Prior to this, Dr. Brigid completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in San Francisco. She received her DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Her undergraduate majors were in physiology and Spanish from Marquette University.

Dr. Brigid absolutely loves her interactions with her pediatric patients and their families. She provides an uplifting, nurturing and compassionate environment to enable her patients to have lasting positive dental experiences. She has four young children of her own (twins included!) and so she is up to date on all the kiddie topics of interest and truly treats each child like her own.

Organizations I belong to:

Fellow of the AAPD, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates, CSPD, ADA, CDA, CCDDS, SDDS

I chose to work with children because:

Children are beautiful. There is no greater satisfaction than loving forward on a child and providing gentle support as she launches.

My favorite food:

Sushi and brownies… not necessarily together 🙂
