So here’s the scoop:
Dr. Connolly comes to us after opening the San Francisco campus of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital as their first Director of Dental Services. He has extensive clinical experience treating children with some of the most complex medical, behavioral, and dental needs; many of those patients would travel from the far reaches of Northern California for their dental care. His education includes a BA in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley, both a DDS and pediatric dentistry residency certificate from UCSF, an MPH in Health Policy & Management from Emory. He is an active Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
My Hobbies Include:
Barbecuing, scuba diving, wine tasting, wine and barbecue pairing, domestic tourism, barbecue tourism, and short walks anywhere but the beach.
I Chose to Work With Children Because:
Young children are much braver than they are given credit for, especially given the right chance to show it. Few things are more gratifying than helping an anxious child leave the office proud of themselves.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I’d probably be:
A barbecue pit master. I love barbecue.
