So here’s the inside scoop:
A California native of the east bay, Dr. Tinna Lee moved to Los Angeles to attend college and dental school at UCLA, where she spent her weekends volunteering at the free children’s dental clinic in Venice. Working with kids quickly became her passion and upon graduating Dr. Tinna went on to receive her pediatric training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she served as chief resident and continued her volunteer work in Brooklyn’s Head Start program. She completed her training in 2007 and worked in Indiana before making her way back to the west coast to teach at UCSF and provide patient care.
Dr. Tinna is so thrilled to be in the Bay Area where she is from! She feels incredibly grateful to be in a field that she loves.
I chose to work with children because: they are honest and pure. They make me laugh everyday and it brings me joy to see them grow up.
What I enjoy about working at Kids Care: I enjoy collaborating with other doctors in a positive environment. It makes me a better clinician and doctor for my patients.
